Our brain and brewtrust have engineered an absolute beaut of a beer...

Greetings Craft Beer Enthusiasts:

Time for a little update as to what's happening over here at Island Brewing Company. Our brain and brewtrust have engineered Optimist, a Double Red Ale, which may be flowing by the time you read this, and which will surely help release your own inner optimist. 8.9% ABV, 31 IBU and headed for you! If all goes according to plan we'll also have 2 variants of Bourbon Barrel Aged Starry Night Stout, one aged in Heaven Hill barrels, the other in Wild Turkey at the end of the month! And we just brewed our Perpetual Saison, so stay tuned for details on that wonderful Belgian release as well.

 We've had a stellar lineup of talented musicians traipsing through and the hits keep coming. We've got the likes of One Two Tree who will max out the Aloha this Saturday, 6-9. Next Saturday, it's Carpinteria's very own much-loved and high energy Skamakazie, and this month also sees the debut of The Knitpickers, who trace their roots back to Big Tweed and beyond, along with another dose of the Cadillac Angels for good measure! Music Sundays too, and March 27 sees the return of jazz guitarist Tom Collins and company! Tuesday Trivia to boot! Synch up here.
